With a fantastic array of facilities and activities available, Shobnall Leisure Complex is perfect for all of Burton’s sports and leisure needs.
Our facilities include a great range of outdoor facilities, including an eight-lane athletics track with all the associated equipment, including long/triple jump, pole vault facilities and much more. Meanwhile, we also offer tennis courts, bowls greens, foot golf, crazy golf, as well as a whole host of outdoor artificial and real grass football pitches available for hire. Finally, the complex also boasts a an children’s play area, as well as a skate park
Inside, there’s a sports centre that can play host to five-a-side games, badminton and a whole host of other activities. Furthermore, there are also two function rooms available to hire for all manner of events.

Gym
This facility has now reopened and available for booking.
Our new 35 station fitness suite is full of Matrix cardio and resistance equipment. Meanwhile, it also features extensive free weights and a stretching area.
Sports Hall
This facility has now reopened and available for booking.
Our modern, spacious sports hall can play host to any number of sports and activities, including indoor hockey, netball, 5-a-side football and badminton. We also hold short tennis and cricket sessions there.
Artificial Football Pitch
This facility has now reopened and available for booking.
As part of the complex, there are two sand based synthetic pitches and several grass pitches available for hire. There are hockey pitches, tennis courts and football pitches, which are available in either full-size 11-a-side or smaller 6-a-side formats. All our pitches can be hired on a casual basis or for leagues and team training sessions. Our pitches are available to hire on an individual basis and for regular club bookings.
Athletics Track
This facility has now reopened and available for booking.
Whatever your athletics needs, we’ve got them covered. Our outdoor athletics facilities include an eight-lane track, pole vaulting facilities, triple and long-jump run up sand sandpits; discus cages, shot circles, as well as a dedicated practice area. There’s also an officials area with an in-built P.A. system. Enquire today.
Tennis Courts
This facility has now reopened and available for booking.
We have six courts available to book throughout the week.
Additional facilities at Shobnall Leisure Complex
Bowls Green
This facility will re-open on 29th March with app/online bookings available from 26th March.
The green is open for casual or team bookings from April to October, with equipment available to hire.
Footgolf
This facility will re-open on 29th March with app/online bookings available from 26th March.
12 hole course available to perfect your skills or take part in a competitive game.
