In the town of Petersfield, Hampshire, Taro Leisure Centre offers a wide range of activities for everyone to enjoy. Our gym features all the latest equipment to help you achieve your fitness goals, while our three pools are ideal for swimmers of all ages and abilities and play host to our award-winning swimming lessons. We also host group fitness classes that are suited to all ages and abilities, while you can enjoy a multitude of activities in the sports hall, including five-a-side football, basketball and badminton. After your exertions, you can even relax in our sauna and steam room.
The East Hampshire Leisure Card applies a discount to activities on site for those that are in receipt of certain benefits, and live in the East Hampshire District.

Gym
This facility has now reopened and available for booking.
Taro’s state-of-the-art, 63-station gym features the latest in cardio, resistance and free weight equipment are generously catered for too. Personal trainers are also on hand to guide you through your workout. Pop in and experience it for yourself.
Swimming Pool
This facility has now reopened and available for booking.
Swimmers at Taro have several options. For serious swimmers, there’s a 25m, four-lane training pool. Meanwhile, the leisure pool, with its 60m flume, is for those who just want to have some fun and the learner pool is for those taking swimming lessons.
Sports Hall
This facility has now reopened and available for booking.
Come and enjoy a variety of sports in our eight-court sports hall. Hire the hall for a range of different activities, or you can come to join us for, among others, organised badminton, five-a-side football, basketball and netball sessions.
Everyone On Demand
Stay active anywhere with Everyone On Demand, whether that's a BODYCOMBAT class at home with Les Mills On Demand or a personalised audio programme with WithU, there is something for everyone. Everyone On Demand provides unlimited access to Les Mills on Demand, WithU, FLEX by FitnessOnDemand and EXI. This gives you the freedom to participate in your favourite classes but also try some new ones as well. Everyone On Demand isn't limited to classes, take advantage of the virtual coach, tailored fitness plans as well the NHS approved app EXi. Everyone On Demand is completely free for members or only £9.99 a month for non-members.
Group Fitness Studio
Following the Government lockdown announcement this facility is closed until further notice.
Our group fitness studio plays host to a variety of different classes. Whatever your fitness goals may be, you’re sure to find the right class for you, while the social nature of the sessions means you can meet new people too.
