Climbing is perfect for juniors. It boosts their confidence, their agility, coordination & balance, and is great for their fitness.
NICAS CLIMBING
These are delivered in partnership with NICAS (National Indoor Climbing Award Schemes) and offer a direct pathway for young climbers from complete beginners all the way to more advanced climbers. Classes are open to children and young people, aged five to 18. It’s a fantastic way to learn hand-eye co-ordination and discipline, as well as being fantastic exercise!
Can I Supervise a Child?
Children can be supervised for either bouldering or top roping. This needs to be by a parent/guardian over the age of 18 and that has completed a competency test. The minimum age for children to climb is 5 years old.
Fun Climbing
Fun Climbing takes traditional indoor climbing and adds extra elements of fun. The climbing walls are brightly coloured and feature fun, interesting shapes. Meanwhile, the auto belay system means you can climb without experience or assistance. Once you’ve finished your climb, if you want to come off or lose your balance, the system lowers you gently to the ground ready to start again or move onto another challenge.
