The sessions will comprise of bouncy castle, ball pit, soft play, obstacle course, ride on toys, parachute games and more.
Many of our leisure centres offer under 5s activities. We always encourage the parents to get involved too. This is because we believe it’s important that the parent is an integral part of the child’s active learning experiences.
All our under 5s activities focus on the kids having fun, being energetic and engaging with other children. Sessions on offer may include Active Antz, adult and child swim lessons, pre-school swim lessons, bouncy castle and soft play activities, as well as our Mini Bouncers trampolining, Mini Dribblers football, our Mini Gym gymnastics club and Arty Crafty Tots.
One of our most popular under 5s activities, Active Antz has been designed to give you and your child time to play and learn from each other. Active Antz encourages you and your child to try a wide range of activities every week. These might range from singing, exploring soft play, crafts, jumping on bouncy castles and so much more.
We here at Everyone Active have soft play areas at centres across the country. They are an excellent way to keep youngsters active and engaged. Soft play is one of several brilliant under 5 activities that we offer and entry for those under one is free.
Soft play is perfect for keeping the kids entertained, especially on a wet and cold rainy day. At our indoor soft play facilities, the kids will be able to have fun, get active and keep fit, by roaming through the ball pit, exploring the slides, playing in the fun house and jumping on the trampolines.
If you’re thinking of doing some a little different for your children’s birthday party, our indoor play areas are a fantastic option. They’ll have endless amounts of fun crawling, climbing and jumping through our multi-storey adventure areas. There’s an option to cater yourself or let us take care of everything and provide the food, depending on which centre you’re at and your own preferences.
TAGactive
As well as the standard standard soft play facilities, some centres are offering TAGactive soft play. This combines everything that’s great about soft play and TAGactive to give the ultimate experience for kids aged 12 and under.
It works in a very similar way to TAGactive, but is contained within a soft play facility, rather than a TAG Arena. Players get a wristband and, rather than points, players are tasked with finding and collecting different shapes.
There are stars, diamonds, circles, hearts and rainbow shapes located on beacons dotted around the arena and players just have to tap their wristband on each one to collect them. At the end of the game, the players download their wristband on to the TAG Play hub. The individuals and teams who have collected the most shapes overall, as well as the largest number of each of the different types of shape win, meaning there’s more chance for more kids to be a winner!
Aimed at young families and a fantastic way to introduce smaller children to the joys of swimming and all the fun that water can provide. It’s a great way for them to build their confidence in the water, either away from the more regimented swim lesson programme or before they enter the programme in the first place. This is one of our more popular under 5s activities.
These classes are aimed at giving your child their first experience of the water, along with your guidance. That introduction is provided through songs, games and support and it aims to promote water confidence. This is alongside offering a social environment for both parents and children. When the child reaches 19 months, they are encouraged to start independent water movement, leading to swimming on their own and, eventually, leading to the stage one pre-school class. This is one of our most popular under 5s activities.
If your child is over the age of three, not in full time education and hasn’t swum before, then this is the stage for them. It will teach confidence and independence in the water and, once completed, your child will be awarded the Swim England Learn to Swim Framework (LTSF) Stage One award. This is as well as the Duckling 1 and 2 awards. Alongside being an important step towards water confidence for your child, this is one of our most popular activities for under 5s.
Under 5s activities are either supervised, coached or lead by experienced and qualified personnel. This helps ensure parents and children make the most of positive learning experiences throughout our sessions.
