September Online Fitness Challenges

It’s back to school and back to reality for many of us, so why not add a little extra incentive to your fitness regime with one of this month’s challenges to help keep you on the straight and narrow!

Connect your Fitbit or Misfit connected device to your profile to track your steps automatically, or add a ‘walking’ activity to your planner to track them manually.

How many calories can you smash this September?

All activity counts, simply track it in your planner or via a connected device such as Fitbit, Strava or MapMyRun to discover how many calories you will burn through during September.

Windermere is the largest, most iconic lake in England. Challenge yourself to swim the full 17km (10.6 miles) from the southern tip of the lake to the northernmost point.

All swimming activity counts, track it via a connected device such as Fitbit, Strava or MapMyRun, or add a swim distance manually in your planner.

The School Run 2023

It’s back to school, college and uni month!

Our challenge is to see if you can cover the distance between England’s two most famous universities. Can you run the 122km (75.5 mile) distance between Oxford and Cambridge University during September?

All running activity counts, simply track via a connected device such as Fitbit, Strava or MapMyRun, or log a running distance manually in your planner.

Lands End to John O’Groats Cycle Challenge 2023

This journey takes you from the southwest tip of Great Britain at Lands End, 874 miles (1,407 km) by road to the northeast tip at John O’Groats.

We’re challenging you to cover this distance by 30th November 2023.

Here are some milestones to aim for:

  • 215 miles – You’ve reached the city of Bath
  • 420 miles – You’ve reached Haydock, Merseyside
  • 555 Miles – You’ve crossed from Cumbria into Scotland
  • 750 miles – You’ve reached Fort William
