Schools Programme

Over 2500 primary school children have engaged in the Alex Danson Hockey Academy in partnership with the Olympic gold medal winner.

Most children are not introduced to hockey until secondary school, with the exception of unihoc at school years 5 & 6. Through this partnership, Everyone Active and Alex Danson have engaged children at a much younger age in the sport, with the hope they will continue playing throughout their lives and really drive and sustain the legacy created by Team GB’s Women’s hockey gold medallists at the Rio 2016 Olympic games.

Everyone Active and the Alex Danson Hockey Academy deliver a high quality service of hockey provision within schools, using hockey sessional coaches’ who have been trained and approved by Alex Danson to guarantee that children benefit from high-quality training.

You and your school are invited to take part in a fantastic schools package to get children more active, engage with parents and give teachers the confidence they need to deliver high standard hockey sessions.
